Clean water everywhere
Made by Nexius.
Nexius has developed a revolutionary 2in1
technology for water purication and packaging
in a single, convenient shipping container. This
technology can purify up to 10 cubic meters of
water per day to meet the highest water quality
standards, removing up to 99% of contaminants
from surface water to produce water that is safe
for even infants to drink.
The shipping container design makes it easy to
transport and set up, and it can be equipped
with solar panels for self-sufciency in the right
conditions. With simple maintenance and a user-
friendly PLC display, anyone can learn to operate
the technology quickly. Additionally, remote
management allows us to x 90% of issues online.
Why are we doing this?
More than a billion people in the world do not
have access to safe drinking water, with the
worst situations occurring in Asia and Africa.
According to the World Health Organization
(WHO), up to 1.5 million children die each year
as a result of drinking unsafe water, and many
more children are forced to spend their days
walking miles to fetch water instead of going
to school.
Water contamination is also a major issue,
particularly in natural disasters when entire
regions may be left without access to potable
water. In these situations, people are often
forced to rely on water tankers to ll their often
highly contaminated bottles or jerry cans.
Our technology is able to solve both of these
problems in a single, effective solution.
Military and humanitarian bases are frequently
located in areas with poor access to clean
drinking water. With our technology, it is now
possible to set up a base near a surface water
source and immediately have the ability to
produce the highest quality bottled drinking
water that can t in a backpack and be carried
into the eld.
Drinking water network outages in cities are
also a common occurrence, whether due to
natural disasters or simply the need to repair
the local water network. In these situations,
our technology is ready to help by distributing
already bottled water with a long shelf life to
those in need.
Overall, our technology addresses multiple issues
at once. It makes it possible to create drinkable
water from sources that would otherwise be
undrinkable, it packs the water in sterile bags
to prevent contamination from bacteria in
reused bottles or cans, and it uses durable bags
that are more portable and have a longer shelf
life than traditional PET bottles and cans. Most
importantly, the water in our bags stays fresh for
over a year, ensuring that it is always safe to drink.

How will the whole process work?
Water is fed to the water treatment plant by a pump from the storage tank, a surface source, or
a borehole. The pump can be submersible or dry, depending on local conditions. The water is then treated
and puried through multi-stage ltration.
Water dosing will be handled by a pump driven by an electric motor or servo drive. The dose size can
be continuously adjusted from the display of the packaging machine. To prevent possible spillage, the
dispenser will be equipped with a closable lling needle.
The packaging machine will then produce bags from a lm roll. A heat-sealable lm with a minimum
thickness of 80 microns is required to make a bag, and a minimum of 120 microns is required for 5L bags.
The machine will be equipped with jaws with a special raster for welding bags with liquids. These jaws will
be washable with water. The bag will be cut with a knife, allowing for easy opening with a slit. Cleaning
and disinfection equipment will be supplied with the line. The cleaning equipment will allow for CIP
cleaning, and the cleaning unit will include a cleaning solution tank with a capacity of approximately 60
liters. Finished bags will be discharged through a lockable opening in the side wall of the conveyor.

Our technology has already assisted with drinking water outages
in Prague and has stood up to a model exercise in the event of
a complete blackout in the water supply in the capital of the
Czech Republic.
Other successes of our technology include the operation of
a container in Indonesia during oods, and testing of the
manufactured water bags by the Czech army for quality,
durability, and strength.
With our innovative technology,
you can have access to clean,
safe drinking water
no matter where you are.
